In this challenging time for refugees, we are grateful for all who are willing to step up and support our new neighbors facing uncertainty, chaos, and lack of financial support.

 Your gift will help ensure that refugees have a safe and successful new beginning in Wausau. 

Thanks to the community’s generosity, we have been able to furnish over 125 refugee households in the past three years!

Due to the suspension of refugee resettlement, we cannot accept any more furnishing or household items until further notice.

We are grateful for monetary gifts to support our new neighbors who have lost promised support.

New Beginnings for Refugees is a local organization that supports refugees in the Wausau, Wisconsin area.

We supplement and complement the work of ECDC, a national resettlement agency with an office in Wausau.

New Beginnings is a component fund of the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin.

 

They lost their homes and communities, but we can create a city of hope and new beginnings with one another.
